| Welcome | |
| We are actively seeking to create imaginative ways of helping our community by involving our fellow citizens and organizations in working together to make our community a better place to live. Since 2002, the Bohemian Foundation has supported a wide array of projects and agencies serving the Fort Collins community. We believe in the Bohemian qualities of creativity, imagination, and spirit. The Pharos Fund is the Bohemian Foundation’s primary grant-making program. Its goals are: 1) To encourage and enable our youth to become productive members of society; 2) To encourage organizations to work together; 3) To be a catalyst for public awareness. Taking its name from the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was located on the island of Pharos, the lighthouse serves as a beacon of hope. One of the seven wonders of the Ancient World, the lighthouse of Alexandria gave its name, “Pharos” to all lighthouses in the world. We believe the name Pharos Fund will continually remind us of our desire to embrace the search for innovative solutions, to focus on our program areas and be a solid base for our grant-making. |
